EA Sports has today revealed a tease of the next iteration of Fifa – Fifa 17. The title has been teased via a short trailer, announcing the title will be built using the Frostbite Engine, that is also used in the upcoming Battlefield 1, and the next Mass Effect title. There will be a full reveal on June 12th – as part of E3 2016 of course!
The Frostbite Engine will be utilised only on the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions, with – presumably – the previous engine standing in for FIFA 17 PS3 and Xbox 360 versions.
The teaser features voiceover from Jose Mourinho (Manchester United’s new manager), as well as a glimpse at Anthony Martial and Eden Hazard, as well as possibly Harry Kane in the motion capture suite. If you’re quick enough with the pause, you can catch glimpses of what look like in-game (or likely at least in-engine) footage.
FIFA 17 is scheduled for release 29th September this year.
