At Bethesda’s E3 showcase tonight they revealed the leaked Skyrim Enhanced Edition from earlier in the week. Speaking on the Bethesda post show steam, Todd Howard revealed that PC players will be able to upgrade to the enchanced edition for free.
Skyrim is currently $14.99/€14.99/£9.99 on Steam – so if you buy it now you willessentially save up to $45 over the average retail. And if you already have it – you’ll be able to play for free, on October 28.
There was no news regarding console prices but the game may be sold a reduced price to compensate. Obviously past gen physical games were more popular than digital so it would be harder to offer such an upgrade. However it was announced at the show case that mods will be available for PS4 and Xbox One.
