With the release of the July update coming this Friday featuring Balrog Capcom have lifted the curtain on how he plays as well as some extra content coming to the update. Check it out below:
A unique move where Balrog twirls his body while moving forward. While activated Balrog can dodge projectiles as well as string together attacks. You can activate KKB before a special attack hits you.
V-Trigger: Crazy Rush
A buffed state that allows Balrog to go on the offensive. You can activate it after filling Balrog’s V-Meter which has 3 bricks, it gives Balrog the ability to string together special moves like; Charging Buffalo and Bursting Buffalo.
Critical Art: Gigaton Blow
A massive damage dash punch, simple but deadly. It can be cancelled into making it an extremely effective combo ender, and (Speculation) looking at the juggle state afterward it may be possible to continue a combo after it.
That’s the Balrog basics, he looks like an incredibly strong fighter. His V-Skill could be effective method to get around projectiles and special moves with high recovery like Ryu’s Shoryuken. His V-Trigger looks to lead some serious high damage juggle combos and his Critical Art if it has projectile invincibility could be a force to be reckoned with as just a single attack to punish an opponent for throwing a bad projectile.
That is not all Capcom have revealed a brand new stage: Kanzuki Family Private Beach, as well as a brand new summer costume for Karin Kanzuki. The costume will be purchasable for $3.99 / €3.99 / £3.29 and the stage will be purchasable in game for 70,000 Fight Money.
All of this new content goes live this Friday, 01/07/2016 for PS4 and PC
