Ladies and Gentlemen, a brand new simulation game is being developed and has recently been announced by publishers, astragon with developers, Chronos Unterhaltungssoftware. Firefighting Simulator is coming to PC using the Unreal® Engine 4 and teaming up with Rosenbauer, one of the largest manufacturers of fire brigade equipment and now the first official partner of Firefighting Simulator.
The game will let you slip into the role of a US Firefighter, saving lives and facing challenges, that real firefighters would have to face.
Scott Oyen of Rosenbauer America says this from an interview asking what are the important features of a firefighting simulator; “Being as close to the real-life experience as possible within the confines of a videogame. astragon was very detailed about making sure all the equipment behaved and functioned in the game exactly as they do in real-life.”
This goes hand in hand with what we can already expect within the game with an actual Rosenbauer licensed fire engine, the TP3 Pumper. Scott says this about the TP3 Pumper. “The TP3 is the culmination of a fully Rosenbauer built fire apparatus, from the chassis, body, and even the fire pump is produced by Rosenbauer which, in the US fire market, is unheard-of from a truck manufacturer.”
With such backing and with veteran developers Chronos Unterhaltungssoftware, who have had a hand in games such as FarCry and Heavenly Sword, we can expect good things from this simulation.
The release is said to be in 2017 and I will be following this game as it develops! So keep an eye out at Untoldgaming.com for more information!
