Quietly amid the noise of recent big game releases – such as Doom, Battleborn, Uncharted 4, and the upcoming Overwatch, to name a few – it’s likely you may have forgotten Epic games is still working away on an Unreal Tournament title.
The latest Unreal Tournament (which is considered a reboot for the series), has been quietly cooking up for the last two years, slowly progressing through with a modest-sized team, and a strong community-driven development, with a pre-alpha build available to download and play for free.
Last night Epic unveiled a fourth (and brand-new) map for the game. Titled ‘Underland;’ it is a swampy arena housing ancient ruins, built as a Deathmatch level for six-eight people. You can see the map in glorious, chaotic, fast-paced action in the trailer embedded at the top!
