The PlayStation E3 press conference had many awesome moments and surprises, but for me, nothig was as surprising as a first person Resident Evil game. As soon as I watched the trailer I knew this was going to be an awesome game, and if you are anything like me when you saw we can play the teaser that night we rushed to our Playstations and downloaded it. When we finally made it out of the house we turned the demo off and haven’t touched it again. Well, you’ve missed a few pieces of the story, so it is wise to head back there and try a few of our ‘tips’ that you can use to help you through the game’s secrets.
First of all, if you have ever played a Resident Evil game or even P.T you will know these games hold a bunch of secrets throughout each and every level and this teaser is no different. If you played the normal way, you will know just about everything you need to know in order to see these secrets for yourself, so without further ado, let’s take a look at the known secrets and how you can find them yourself without spoiling it too much for you.
First of all, make sure you beat the game the normal way first, this is so you will know what I am talking about and making it easier to figure where these secrets are and how to use them. Second of all, not every item serves a purpose as we know of yet. The axe and dummy finger serve no purpose as of right now until we dive further into the teaser, until then, you will need next to nothing in order to find these secrets.
“Stairs Button Secret”
By now, you’ve probably seen the room with the three mannequins, yes they look at you when you look away from them and yes one even follows you around. However, this room serves a much secretive and scarier purpose. It is to hide the attic from the player. If played the normal way, when you press the stairs button… Bam, nothing happens. You can open this up easily with two simple steps. Remember that secret lever you had to pull inside of the chimney? As soon as you wake up ‘in the very beginning’ find that lever and pull it. A fuse will be sitting on the table to your left. Grab the fuse and simply put in in the fuse box in the same room that has the TV. Then, head on over upstairs and press the ‘stairs’ button. The stairs will slowly descend to the attic. when you go up there, there will be a ringing telephone. Once you pick up, the game will end.
There is a variation of the same secret ending. Do everything as stated above, but this time, look at the mannequins so they do not face you. Go tot his same phone for a different ending.
“Full telephone ending”
first, pull the lever and open the attic, but instead of going up the stairs, go about the game the way you normally would. Find the key you need to get out, but instead, go to the attic for yet another variation of the telephone ending.
So far, these are the three different endings we at Untold Gaming have personally found, we will update this list if there are any others we figure out along the way. With so many endings so far into the game, I can only imagine the full game will be chalk full of secrets for gamers to find on our TV’s and VR headsets next January.
Found another secret ending? We’d love to hear from you! Let us know what you found in the comments section and we will give it a try, update the list and give you credit for the finding!
